Hello, I have decided to close the Hub in May. I have made the decision in order to spend more time at home with my family. The last 7 years have been an incredible experience. That is why this was such a difficult decision to make. I have been blessed to work with some of the finest musicians that any venue has had the honor to host. THANK YOU to all of you who have played here. THANK YOU to all of the live music supporters. You have all been great ambassadors of the music scene in Cedar Falls and are a huge part of what makes this an incredible community to live in. THANK YOU to all of the staff (current and past). You are some of the most amazing friends and co-workers that anyone could be lucky enough to know; especially Ana. You are the only one who has been there from the start...and I am incredibly grateful that you have agreed to see this through until the end. THANK YOU to my original business partners Darren C, Kyle H, and DK. The Hub would never have become a reality without you. And most of all, THANK YOU to my wife Alissa. You have always been so supportive and understanding of my passion for music. You have sacrificed so much for me. You have endured so many nights and weekends at home while I have been at The Hub. And you have done it all with grace and selflessness. I love you very much! I am saddened that in 4 months it will be time to say goodbye to The Hub. I will cherish so many memories. I am also excited for the road ahead. I am thrilled to be able to spend more time with my family. Don't forget...we have 4 great months ahead of us! We will be hosting as many shows as possible in the final months until mid-May. I hope you have all enjoyed the wild ride and will stop in to see some of your favorite bands perform their final shows at the Hub. Let the "Last Waltz" begin!!! - Marcus
